9 Pyramids Lounge opened in October 2020 as the first restaurant located directly on the Giza plateau, with tented and open-air seating designed to sit lightly on the archaeological site. It is run by Orascom Pyramids Entertainment under a concession from Egypt's Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, and looks out over the pyramids and the surrounding desert.
