Mr. Rodriguez wanted to build a villa with a large garden for hosting parties. The plot covered 2000 square meters, of which 800 square meters were built up and 1200 square meters were left as a garden. To reduce construction costs, three floors were built above the villa, which occupied most of the ground floor and garden. These floors contained 6 residential apartments, generating rental income to offset the construction costs.
The building was designed by architect Henri Frisco, who designed many famous buildings in Zamalek, Dokki, Maadi, and Heliopolis.
