Set in the former Zizinia palace of Princess Fatma al-Zahra, built in 1919, this museum displays jewelry, gemstones, medals, watches and personal effects of Egypt's Muhammad Ali dynasty, including pieces linked to King Farouk and Queen Farida. The building itself, with its stained glass and European decorative work, was restored between 2004 and 2010 and reopened that year.
