The Agricultural Museum occupies the former palace of Princess Fatima Ismail, daughter of Khedive Ismail, in Dokki. Egypt's cabinet ordered its creation in 1927 and it opened to the public on 16 January 1938, organized into eight specialized halls covering ancient Egyptian farming, cotton, and natural history. Closed for restoration from 2016, it reopened to visitors on 1 September 2025.
